Johanna
I was originally born in Ohio, but spent most of my years growing up in Kansas. I moved to the Outer Banks about 4 years ago after spending a couple years in Miami. I now live in Corolla and work at a local rental company. The summer I moved here I started babysitting as a part time job. Each summer the demand for babysitting grew and grew so I finally decided to start a babysitting service to serve vacationers on the Outer Banks. 2007 was my first year with an actual company and it took off faster than I ever hoped it would! 2008 was a very successful season and for the 2009 rental season I hired several more babysitters to accommodate even more babysitting needs. I am a member of the Outer Banks Wedding Association and I am American Red Cross Child and Infant CPR & First Aid certified.
Harriett
Harriett is 27 years old and a native of North Carolina. She is currently a 3rd grade teacher at the local elementary school on the Outer Banks. Harriett is CPR and First Aid certifed. 2009 will be Harriett's 3rd year babysitting for OBHH.
Ellie
Ellie is 23 years old and is orginally from Albania. She moved to North Carolina when she was very young and she and her husband have made the Outer Banks home. Ellie has attended nursing school and is CPR and First Aid certified. She is the proud mother of her 2 year old son! 2009 will be Ellie's 2nd year babysitting for OBHH.
Marianne
Marianne is 24 years old and originally from Chesapeake, Virginia. She is currently a 6th grade Math teacher at the local middle school on the Outer Banks. She also coaches softball at the high school. Marianne is CPR and First Aid certified. 2009 will be Marianne's 2nd year babysitting for OBHH.
Jamie
Jamie is currently a kindergarten teacher at the local elementary school. She and her husband had their first baby in December of 2008. Jamie is CPR and First Aid certified. 2009 will be Jamie's 2nd year babysitting for OBHH.
Christina
Christina is a native of the Outer Banks. She is a substitue teacher for all the local schools. Christina and her husband had their first baby in September of 2008. She is state certifed to teach CPR and First Aid. 2009 will be Christina's 2nd year babysitting for OBHH.
